‘Electricity from Trash’ bags first prize
Jamshedpur, Jan 19: Kerala Public School, Kadma organized Physics exhibition in collaboration with Amity University Jharkhand under ‘Innovation and Entrepreneurship Outreach program’ on Wednesday.
The exhibition provided a platform for the students to use their knowledge and bring the best invention. They applied their classroom knowledge in these exhibitions and developed the taste for learning. It made the students more confident, creative and learners for life.
The passionate and enthusiastic students of Std XI showcased their talent by exhibiting 16 working models and made posters to present model action plan in terms of PowerPoint presentation.
All the models created by the students were concept based. They actively participated in the event, contributing to its grand success. Some of the most notable models crafted by the students were Stirling Engine, Laser Earthquake Alarm, Bulletproof Armour, Seismograph and many more.
Chief Guest for the occasion Dr Ashok Kumar Srivastava, Pro Vice Chancellor of Amity University, Jharkhand appreciated the hard work of the students. He stressed on the importance of the contributions of the young generations to the field of science and technology. He even distributed the prizes to the winners.
First prize was bagged by the Model “Electricity from Trash” presented by Rupsha , Shristhy, Sneha and Swastika.
Second prize went to Model “Sterling Engine“presented by Yash, Moupi, Rohit, Neha and Urvashi.
Model “Obstacle avoiding Robot “presented by Piyush , sarthak , Prantik , Aryan and Ridhima won the third prize.
Principal Sharmila Mukherjee showered praises and had deep appreciation for the hardworking and innovative young thinkers. She encouraged the students to keep developing interest in novel ideas. She highlighted the significance of the event and motivated the students to think of innovative models based on research.
