KPS Kadma students learn basic lifecycle of plants

Jamshedpur, Dec. 8: The pre-primary segment of KPS Kadma celebrated �Seed Day� on Tuesday. The objective behind the event was to save as well as protect the mother earth. The event was inaugurated by the chief guest Mita Tarafdar, an active member of the Rotary Club, Jamshedpur, and participated by teachers and parents of class I and II students.

A thought provoking speech was delivered by Prity Kumari and Shruti Jha of class V on this occasion. A dance and drama with the message of �save mother earth� was performed by the students of primary segment of the school. The chief guest was happy to watch the entertaining performance of the toddlers. Her words of wisdom filled the young minds with new vigor and vitality.

To reinforce the understanding of basic lifecycle of plants, germination activity was conducted by all the students of Nursery, LKG and UKG.

The director of the school appreciated the hard work and talent of brimming buddies. The chief guest and the dignitaries present planted the seeds in the pot and supported the cause and the noble spirit of “going green.”

Sharad Chandran, director of the school, principal Sharmila Mukherjee, vice-principal Harmeet Pal, primary school coordinators Almelu and Shalini Sethi were present on the occasion.
