Jamshedpur, Dec 1: The third day of the LMAD Jamshedpur Youth Conference, hosted by KPS Kadma, was a transformative journey for students from 12 schools, focused on introspection, self-discovery, and personal growth. The day’s events, attended by dignitaries including Viral Mazumdar, Chief Conductor of LMAD, and KPS leadership including Sharat Chandran, Director of KPS Schools, began with a soulful prayer followed by a calming breathing exercise, emphasizing the importance of quiet time in daily life.

A key session used a vase of flowers to illustrate the difference between outward appearances and inner truths. The vibrant flowers symbolized external personas, while the dry leaves beneath represented unresolved issues and dishonesty. Facilitators encouraged participants to reflect on how ego often prevents true introspection and urged them to embrace self-reflection and discipline to overcome ego-driven impulses.

Students were reminded of the enduring value of love and meaningful relationships, which are far more significant than material possessions. In a moving activity, they dispersed to reflect on their life journeys, recording their thoughts and experiences. The day was filled with interactive discussions and group activities focused on self-awareness, honesty, and personal growth.

The success of the day was largely due to the efforts of dedicated volunteers, whose planning and execution ensured a smooth and enriching experience. As the day ended, participants engaged in a symbolic ritual of writing down negative thoughts and unresolved emotions, burning the papers to signify release and renewal.
