Jamshedpur, Dec 5: Kerala Public School, Kadma celebrated its Intra Youth Festival 2025 on 5th December with great enthusiasm. Chairperson Manorema Nair, Director Sharat Chandran, Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar and other dignitaries inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp.

This year’s theme, “Jal, Jangal, Zameen aur Hum” (Water, Forest, Land and Us), highlighted the importance of environmental harmony.
The programme began with Saraswati Vandana, followed by an address by the Headmistress encouraging students “to explore their abilities and participate wholeheartedly.” A wide array of events—group dance, speech, quiz, extempore, group songs, tableaux and more—were held on-stage. Off-stage competitions included rangoli, collage-making, origami, web designing, caricature and T-shirt painting.

Over 800 students were awarded for outstanding performances across 47 events. Four houses—Prosperity, Peace, Valour and Wisdom—competed keenly, with Prosperity (Green House) winning the Championship Trophy, followed by Peace (Blue House).

The vote of thanks was delivered by Headmistress Ravishankar. The Principal, though absent, appreciated the collective efforts of teachers and students in making the festival a success.
