KPS Kadma honours academic achievers

Jamshedpur, June 21: Kerala Public School (KPS), Kadma, celebrated academic excellence at its Annual Prize Nite for ICSE and ISC 2026, recognizing the outstanding achievements of its students. The grand event was attended by students, parents, and teachers and was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Rahul Kumar Shukla, Head of Admissions at XLRI Jamshedpur, along with the school’s Chairperson, Ms. Manorema Nair.

The ceremony highlighted the remarkable performance of KPS students in the ICSE and ISC examinations. A total of 167 students were felicitated for securing 90 percent and above in individual subjects. The school distributed 314 awards and certificates of excellence to students who achieved scores of 90 percent or higher.

Special recognition was given to 28 ICSE and ISC subject toppers, who received rolling trophies for their exceptional performance. Four students who scored 90 percent or above in all six subjects and achieved a flawless “6-pointer” aggregate were presented with cash awards. Additionally, seven ICSE students were honoured for scoring a perfect 100 marks in different subjects.

Recognising the contribution of educators, the school also honoured 37 teachers for their dedication and mentorship in guiding students to outstanding results.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Rahul Shukla praised the school’s academic culture and encouraged students to remain focused on their goals. “Every moment you choose deep focus over short digital distractions, you are actively training your brain to master the ultimate superpower for future success,” he said.

Academic Director of KPS Schools, Lakshmi R., congratulated the students, parents and faculty members on their achievements. She reminded students to remain humble despite their success, citing the school’s guiding principle, “Vidya Dadati Vinayam,” which means that true knowledge should always lead to humility.

The event concluded with applause and celebrations, marking another successful year of academic achievement for KPS Kadma.
