Jamshedpur, February 2: KPS Kadma celebrated Janani Diwas (Honour Your Parents) on Monday with great devotion and warmth at the school’s main assembly ground. The event was organised to promote Indian cultural values among students from Classes 1 to 12.

Students created a spiritual atmosphere with stotra chanting, a Hindi speech, and a soulful bhajan. Chairperson Manorema Nair addressed the gathering, appreciating the efforts of the school in nurturing respect and gratitude among children. Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar was also present on the occasion.

The most touching moment of the event was when students honoured their parents by applying tilak, offering flowers and garlands, performing aarti, and seeking their blessings. The emotional gestures moved many parents to tears.
