KPS Kadma celebrates ICSE and ISC achievers at Prize Distribution Ceremony

Jamshedpur, June 29: Kerala Public School (KPS), Kadma organized its annual ICSE and ISC Prize Distribution Ceremony in the Ground Floor Auditorium. The event, Prize Nite, honored 316 students for their outstanding academic achievements.

The ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including Chief Guest Shantanu Chakrabarti, Director Sharat Chandran, Academic Director Lakshmi R, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee, and Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar. Principals from other schools were also present.

The event commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Shantanu Chakrabarti, Sharat Chandran, Lakshmi R, Sharmila Mukherjee, and Alamelu Ravishankar. Principal Sharmila Mukherjee delivered the welcome address and a congratulatory message, expressing gratitude to the teachers, parents, and students for their dedication in maintaining the school’s excellence. She also presented the school’s Annual Report, highlighting achievements during the academic year 2023-‘24.

The ceremony featured dance and choir performances that captivated the audience. Academic Director Lakshmi R welcomed the guests, congratulated the ISC and ICSE students, and thanked the parents and teachers for their trust and contributions. Director Sharat Chandran also addressed and congratulated the students on their achievements.

Rolling trophies, certificates, and cash prizes were awarded to the top scorers in various subjects. The Chief Guest praised the efforts of the management, teachers, and students, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence. He emphasized the importance of hard work, focus, and the development of good reading habits.

Principal Sharmila Mukherjee motivated the award winners to pursue their dreams while upholding the school’s values. She also acknowledged the supportive role of parents and the dedication of the faculty in driving the school’s progress.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Senior School Coordinator T Veena.
