Jamshedpur, June 29: Loyola School Bistupur celebrated annual prize night for the senior section, honoring the academic and extracurricular achievements of students from classes 6 to 12. The evening began with a solemn prayer led by Father Rector, setting a reverent tone for the event. The school president then addressed the students and motivated them.

Father Jyoti Ranjan and Father S. Pancras presented proficiency awards to the exemplary students of Standard 6. The academic stars of Standard 7 were honored by Father Pius Fernandes, while Father Victor Misquith recognized the achievements of Standard 8 students. The Vice Principal of the Junior Section, Vineeta F Ekka, awarded the meritorious students of Standard 9.

The choir’s soulful rendition of “Here I Am to Worship” added a melodic interlude to the ceremony. A highlight of the evening was the special Achievement and Endeavour Award presented by Father Gerald D’Souza, celebrating students who demonstrated exceptional dedication.

Sayan Adhikari, an inspirational student for his batchmates, was posthumously awarded for his achievements. His lively nature and endurance will always echo in the corridors of Loyola.

Following this, students enthralled the audience with a vibrant dance performance, “Tillanna,” showcasing their cultural talent and rhythmic precision.
Father K.M. Joseph, Rector of Loyola School, took pride in honoring the students who achieved top marks in the ICSE examinations. Vice Principal, Senior Section, Teacher Jayanthi Sheshadari, extended accolades to the highest scorers of the ISC examinations. The choir then performed an inspiring rendition of “Hall of Fame,” motivating all present to strive for excellence.

The event concluded with the presentation of sports and special awards by Principal Vinod Fernandes.
Principal Vinod Fernandes enlightened the students with words of wisdom by his speech on excellence and the values of a Loyolean. He said , that it is possible for ordinary people to be extraordinary. He urged them to constantly raise the bar and strive towards Magis.

Teacher Jayanthi delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the evening’s success.
The ceremony concluded with the Loyola School anthem, leaving attendees with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
