KPS Kadma celebrates Annual Prize Nite 2024

Jamshedpur, July 6: Kerala Public School Kadma hosted its Annual Prize Nite on July 6, 2024, with Col. Earnest Paul, Deputy General Manager (JTO) of Tata Steel Utility & Infrastructure Services Limited, as the chief guest. The event, dedicated to honoring the academic and extracurricular achievements of the students, was graced by Chairperson Shrimati Manorama Nair, Director Sharat Chandran, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee, and Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar.

The evening commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest, along with the dignitaries. The Principal presented the school’s Annual Report, showcasing the highlights of the academic year 2023-24. The cultural program, featuring a vibrant dance and choir performance, captivated the audience. A total of 76 students were honoured for their outstanding academic performance, with a new rolling trophy in Mathematics for students from classes 6 to 8 introduced this year.

Sharat Chandran lauded the dedication of teachers, parents, and students, encouraging them to stay focused and work diligently. He highlighted the seven C’s of education—Character, Creativity, Communication, Computation Literacy, Critical Thinking, Citizenship, and Collaboration—as essential for success.

Col. Earnest Paul, in his address, praised the school’s educational resources and commended the efforts of the management, teachers, and students. He emphasized the importance of balancing IQ, EQ, and CQ (Intelligence Quotient, Emotional Quotient, and Cultural Quotient) for a well-rounded success in life.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by High School Coordinator Jatinder Kaur Panesar and was followed by the National Anthem.
