Jamshedpur, July 6: Jamshedpur police have disclosed details regarding the murder of Rajaram Soren, which occurred on June 10 in Bodam, a rural area near Jamshedpur. The unidentified body found on June 10 in Lailam Forest was later identified as that of 24-year-old Rajaram Soren, a resident of Khedua village in Palma, Patamda.
Following thorough investigation, police determined that Sefali Mandi had a dispute with the deceased over a mobile phone transaction. Subsequently, Sefali Mandi and accomplices allegedly murdered Rajaram Soren and concealed his body in the Lailam Forest, which was later discovered by authorities. Police have confiscated the motorcycle, mobile phone, and other items related to the incident.
Those arrested included Suresh Besra alias Bhadu Besra, Janmanjay Mahato alias Chhotu Mahato, Kartik Murmu, Sefali Mandi, Chhotu Sabar, Supal Sabar alias Phuchu Sabar, Shravan Mandi alias Tempu Mandi, Kabir Hussain, and others. The arrests were made by a team led by Patmda DSP Bachandev Kujur and Bodam police station in-charge Upendra Narayan Singh. Details of the murder case were revealed following their arrest and subsequent investigation.
