Jamshedpur: Kerala Public School (KPS) Kadma students displayed their brilliant skills to win the Inter – KPS Basketball tournament in the senior boys and junior boys category. In the senior girl event KPS Burmamines was declared the champion and KPS Gamharia won in the Junior Girls category.
Organised by KPS Kadma in the school premises the tournament was held from 3rd to 6th April. The match between the zealous teams took place in the sprawling basket ball court. The winning teams were felicitated by the Director & Principal of the School.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by the Director of the Kerala Public Schools, Sharat Chandran along with the Academic Director Lakshmi Sharat and the Principal of the school, Sharmila Mukherjee. The tournament was declared open by the Director of the school followed by a motivational speech to keep the team spirit on. The holy oath was initiated by the Principal. In all, 5 KPS branches had participated.
