JH Tarapore awards achievers

Jamshedpur: J.H. Tarapore School organized �Recognition Day� on Saturday, to acknowledge and reward student achievers who performed exceptionally well in academics and co-curricular activities.

The programme commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony by the chief guest Rubina Bodhanwala, Managing Trustee, Tarapore Schools. The year 2019 is observed as the International Year of Indigenous Languages by the United Nations. The students presented a beautiful dance depicting a link between language, development, peace and reconciliation which is the primary concept behind this drive by the UN.

A report was presented highlighting the achievements of the students in the academic year 2018-2019. Several award categories including Academic Excellence, Perseverance, Good Conduct, Class All-Rounder and the Most Responsible Student were bestowed to well deserving students.

Special Recognition Prizes were awarded to the students for their outstanding achievements in various Olympiads, Dance, Sports and Yoga Competitions. Zarnanin Monazza of Std V- A was presented with the Social Service Award and Sarakshi Pani of Std VI was recognized as the Primary All-Rounder of 2018-2019.

The programme ended with a vote of thanks appreciating the efforts of the stakeholders and the time invested by the dignitaries and parents in celebrating the success of the past academic year.
