Kolhan University Team Secures Indian Patent for AI Blood Sugar Device

Jamshedpur: In a significant achievement for research and innovation, the Patent Office, Government of India, has awarded a Design Registration Certificate to Dr. Shobhit Ranjan and his team from the Postgraduate Department of Zoology at Kolhan University, Chaibasa, for their innovative “AI-Based Blood Sugar Test Device.”

The Patent Office granted the certificate under the provisions of the Designs Act, 2000, and the Designs Rules, 2001, recognizing the device’s novelty and uniqueness. The team developed the innovation using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to make blood sugar testing more accurate, user-friendly, and efficient.
