Kolhan University Postpones FYUGP Exams Due to NEET Arrangements

Kolhan University has announced the postponement of its FYUGP( Four-Year Undergraduate Programme) 2nd and 6th semester examinations that were scheduled to be held on May 2, 2026. The decision was taken in view of administrative arrangements for the NEET examination.

Exams Postponed Due to NEET Centre Allocation

As per the official notification issued by the university’s Examination Department, several colleges under its jurisdiction have been designated as examination centres for the NEET exam scheduled on May 3, 2026. Following directions from the district administration of East Singhbhum, the university decided to defer the semester examinations.

Revised Examination Schedule

The postponed examinations will now be conducted on May 12, 2026.

• FYUGP 2nd Semester (Session 2024–2028)
  Paper: SEC-2 (Communication Skills and Personality Development, and News Writing and Reporting)
  Time: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
• FYUGP 6th Semester (Session 2022–2026)
  Paper: MJ-13
  Time: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM

No Change in Exam Centres and Timings

The university has clarified that apart from the change in date, there will be no changes in examination centres or timings.

Colleges Directed to Inform Students

All affiliated colleges have been instructed to inform students about the revised schedule at the earliest. Teachers have also been advised to share the update through official communication channels to ensure that all students are aware.

University Issues Assurance

The Examination Controller of Kolhan University stated that the decision was taken to ensure smooth conduct of both university examinations and the NEET exam, while minimizing inconvenience to students.

The move aims to facilitate proper coordination of examination infrastructure and maintain order during the national-level entrance examination.
