In a gesture of communal harmony and mutual respect, officials of the Central Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) were honoured by the Bodhi Society of Jamshedpur during the celebration of the 257th Buddha Jayanti held at the Buddhist Temple premises.
Grand Celebration of Buddha Jayanti
The event was organised under the aegis of the Bodhi Society, drawing a large gathering of devotees and community members. The celebration marked the birth anniversary of Gautama Buddha, observed with traditional rituals and cultural reverence.

Several distinguished personalities from the Sikh community attended the event, including Bhagwan Singh (President), Shailendra Singh (Chairman), Inderjit Singh (General Secretary, Patna Sahib), Sukhwinder Singh Raju (Senior Vice President), Amarjit Singh (General Secretary), and Sukhdev Singh Bittu (Advisor).
Guests Felicitated with Anga Vastras
During the function, the visiting dignitaries were honoured with Anga Vastras (ceremonial stoles) by Alok Ranjan Barua (President) and Sadhan Barua (General Secretary) of the Bodhi Society. The felicitation symbolised respect and recognition of their contributions to community service.
