Jamshedpur, April 16: The pay scale of six non-teaching staff of Kolhan University has been fixed. The state government has given approval to a proposal in this regard. Now the said six teachers will get remuneration as per the 7th Pay Scale recommendations. Kolhan University has issued a notification in this regard.
The teachers of JLN College, Chakradharpur, Jamshedpur Cooperative College, Jamshedpur and Kashi Sahu College, Seraikela will be benefitted by the pay scale fixation. This was informed by the KU spokesperson Dr PK Pani.
Dr Pani said the pay scale of other non-teaching staff of KU would soon be notified.
KU sources said many non-teaching staff of the university had retired with Fourth Pay Scale salary. The non-teaching staff had also moved the Jharkhand High Court due to non-determination of their pay scale. The state government was compelled to issue a notification regarding the fixation of pay scale of the non-teaching staff.
