Jamshedpur, April 17: Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (formerly Jusco) has always endeavored to provide quality of life to citizens of Jamshedpur. In the continuous effort to deliver safe, comfortable and convenient access for all inhabitants and promote environmental sustainability, while creating vibrant and green public spaces, Tata Steel UISL has developed walkers track at central verge of Mango Dimna road. The design of walkers track at the central verge is safe, efficient and functional for pedestrians, non motorised vehicles and motorized vehicular traffic. The design controls of this track/verge are human factors, road space allocation, speed, green management and sight distances. The park will remain open from 6 am to 9 am in the morning and 5pm to 8pm in the evening.

Tata Steel UISL has detailed some important specifications of the Walkers Track.
According to a press communique issued by the company, length of the walkers’ park is 160M. It has 3.5 M wide pathway with paver block and 1450 Sqm. Area of greenery developed. 85 Palm trees and 8 Bakul flower plants add to the greenery of walkers Park.

For the convenience of walkers 10 benches have been put up for resting. Four dust bins will ensure cleanliness and upkeep of the place. For better illumination in and around the park LED bulbs have been put up.
