Jamshedpur: Kolhan University’s Research and Development Cell has announced the schedule for the 2025-26 academic session Ph.D. enrolment process. Selected doctoral candidates can complete their admission formalities between June 22 and July 7 at their respective postgraduate departments.
The university has set the Ph.D. enrolment fee at ₹10,000. Out of the 89 research scholars selected across various disciplines, more than 30 hold Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), reflecting a significant boost in the institution’s academic and research standards.
Vice-Chancellor Emphasizes Quality Research
Congratulating the incoming scholars, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Anjila Gupta emphasized that research shapes a university’s academic identity and merit. She affirmed that Kolhan University actively strengthens its research ecosystem to provide a highly supportive environment for quality scholars.
Expressing immense confidence in the new batch, the Vice-Chancellor noted that their findings will meaningfully advance the region, the society, and the nation. She added that the high concentration of JRF-qualified scholars will inject fresh momentum into the university’s research culture, paving the way for high-impact academic work.
The university has uploaded the complete selection list, detailed enrolment guidelines, and specific departmental instructions onto its official website. Administration advises all selected candidates to submit their paperwork and complete the necessary formalities within the designated window.
