Jamshedpur, March 17: The investigation of the case of assault on soldier Suraj Rai posted in Kashmir in Jugsalai police station has been intensified.
Kolhan DIG Manoj Ratan Chautha along with all the officers reached the border of Bagbera , Jugsalai and inspected the spot. During this, an attempt was made to find out where the incident took place and how it happened. Although the spot was in the Bagbera police station area, but the spot was said to be in Jugsalai area. People nearby denied that the spot was there.
After this, the police team went ahead and investigated, in which it was found that the spot took place in Bagbera area.
On the other hand, in this case, the family members of the victim soldier have also handed over the CCTV footage to the DIG in the investigation, which is proving the police claim to be wrong.
Apart from this, they have demanded that all the CCTV footage installed in the police station should be investigated and the police officers should support the truth and action should be taken against the Jugsalai police station in-charge.
