Kirtan Darbar to Mark Beginning of Sawan at Sakchi Gurdwara on July 16

Jamshedpur, July 13: A Kirtan Darbar will be organised at Gurudwara Sahib, Sakchi, on July 16 to mark the beginning of the holy month of Sawan. The congregation will be welcomed to seek the blessings of Guru Sahib by offering prayers and listening to Gurbani.

Preparations for the Sangrand programme were reviewed during a meeting of the Sakchi Gurdwara Management Committee held under the chairmanship of committee president Sardar Nishan Singh. Arrangements related to the smooth conduct of the event, convenience of devotees, religious decorum and seva were finalised.

The meeting was attended by trustees Satnam Singh Sidhu and Rabinder Singh, spokesperson Baljit Sansoa, and committee members Sunny Singh Bariyar, Ajaib Singh, Sukhvinder Singh Nikku, Shyam Singh, Balbir Singh, Daljit Singh, Satbir Singh Goldu, Rajendra Singh, Amarpal Singh, Baldev Singh Babbu, Bibi Manjit Kaur, Bibi Raj Kaur, Bibi Gurmeet Kaur, Bibi Pinky Kaur and others. A commitment was made by all members to ensure that the programme is conducted with complete religious devotion and discipline.

An appeal was made by Sardar Nishan Singh to devotees to attend the Kirtan Darbar with their families in large numbers. Devotees were urged to seek Guru Sahib’s blessings, listen to Gurbani, and participate in Guru ka Langar, Prasad and Seva.
