Kids International School hosts Inter-House Karate Championship 2025

Jamshedpur: Kids International School conducted the Inter-House Karate Championship 2025 on Saturday, showcasing the spirit, discipline, and sporting excellence of its students. Participants from the sub-junior, cadet, junior, and senior categories demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and skill, making the event a vibrant celebration of martial arts. All four houses—Courage, Harmony, Unity, and Legacy—competed in the championship, adding a dash of excitement and healthy rivalry to the sporting event.

Several students, including Kunal Mahato (Kata), Leena Mahato (Kata), Talat Fatma (Kumite), Zoya Khan (Kumite), Adeba Taskeen (Kumite), Alisha Shafiq (Kumite), and Shifa Parveen (Kumite), received special recognition for their exceptional performance in the National Selection Trials, bringing pride to the school.

The competition was evaluated by an experienced jury panel comprising Shihan Sarju Ram as Chief Referee, and Rohit Kumar Malakar, Haya Subuhi, Chandni Kumari, Astik Mandal, and Manas Dutt Mishra as judges. Their expertise ensured fair assessment and encouraged students to perform at their best.

The event concluded with the announcement of winners across categories. In the sub-junior division, Izyaan Khan, Mohammad Umair, and Ahmed Raza secured top positions among boys, while Eram Parveen, Ayat Naz, and Sadia Tabassum emerged as winners among girls. The cadet category saw victories for Zaid Khan, Ayan Ashraf, and Mohammad Umar in the boys’ group, and for Humaira Farhat, Alisha Naz, and Amna Khan in the girls’ group.

In the Junior category, the boys’ winners were Arqam Abdullah, Abu Zaid, and Ayman Hussain, while the girls’ group was led by Preeti Kumbhar, followed by Priya Kumbhar and Atifa Afrin. The Senior category saw outstanding performances from boys’ winners Alqais Hussain, Kunal Mahato, and Abdur Rahman, while in the girls’ division, Talat Fatima claimed the top spot, followed by Adeeb Taskeen and Humaira Sheikh.
