Jamshedpur, Aug 7: The installation ceremony of students for the academic session 2019 � �22 was organized by the Mass Communications Department of Karim City College. The students of the incoming batch were acquainted with the rules and regulations and information related to the department. Parents and guardians who were present on the occasion were also briefed about the courses pursued by the Mass Com Department.
Speaking on the occasion, Karim City College Principal Dr Md Zakaria observed, �It is your responsibility and resolution to keep the 23 year old banner of tradition flying. Many of our students who have graduated from the Department of Mass Communications have made it big in various segments of cinema, serials, short films, theatre, journalism and allied fields thereby bringing glory to the College and making a mark for themselves in their chosen fields. You should emulate them and aim higher.�
Chief guest and famed litterateur Dr C Bhaskar Rao blessed the students and addressed them stating, �This Mass Communications Department is your chosen field of pursuit. Study assiduously and pick up every thread of learning imparted to you. This is the mantra of success.�
The honoured guests were Dr Md Riyaz, Dr Indrasen Singh and Dr BN Tripathy. Head of the Department o Mss Communications Dr Neha Tiwary anchored the proceedings. The faculty members present on the occasion included Sanjay Prasad, Nida Zakaria, Dipika, Sayad Sajid Parvez, Farzana Begum, Sayad Shahzeb Parvez and others.
