Kayasth Mahasabha seeks action against Olidih OC

Jamshedpur: Akhil Bharatiya Kayasth Mahasabha members condemned the incident of alleged torture of former district BJP president Rajkumar Srivastava by the officer in-charge of Olidih police station late yesterday night. They said the incident exposed the high-handedness of police. They demanded a high level probe into the incident.
The outfit members said the accused police officer had also beaten up Srivastava�s mother at the police station, leading to a fracture in her hand. They demanded a probe by the Jharkhand State Women�s Commission into the incident. They said the district administration should ensure that such incident is not repeated.
