Kasidih High School honours its brightest minds

Jamshedpur, July 10: Kasidih High School, a unit of JEM Foundation, celebrated its Annual Prize Night & Felicitation Ceremony 2026 on July 9, honouring students for their academic excellence and overall achievements.

The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and prayers to Goddess Saraswati and Lord Ganesha. Cultural performances by students added colour to the event and reflected the school’s focus on holistic education.

Principal Francis Joseph presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s achievements in academics, sports, cultural activities, and community service during the past year.

The main attraction of the evening was the felicitation of outstanding students from Classes IX, X, XI, and XII. Saleha Perween received special recognition for becoming the CBSE Class XII (PCB/Bio Science) City Topper with an impressive 95.8%. Other board achievers honoured included C.H. Tanisha (Class X), Aditya Jaiswal (Class XII – Pure Science) with 89.4%, and Anirban Das (Class XII – Commerce) with 94.2%.

Chief Guest Ruchi Narendran congratulated the students and appreciated the school’s commitment to quality education. She encouraged students to remain curious, compassionate, and dedicated to lifelong learning.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Senior School Coordinator Barnita Basu, followed by the School Anthem. The event ended on a proud note, celebrating the hard work of students, teachers, and parents.
