Karim City students to make three films, shooting starts today

Jamshedpur, Jan. 7: Mass Communication students of Karim City College are all set to start shooting of short films which is part of their syllabus.

The shooting for a short film, a feature film and a video album would start on Friday, January 8. Film director and cinematographer, Rajesh Raj will guide the students in making this project a success.

During the one month long workshop students would be made aware of the facts. Raj Rajesh has worked as an assistant director with famous Bollywood director Prakash Jha.

On the eve of the shooting, Dr. Neha Tiwary, HOD, Mass Communication of Karim City College said, every year students are involved in film making and their films have won several accolades around the country.

�It is a matter of pride that former students of this department Bikas Ranjan Mishra�s bollywood film �Chauranga� will release all over India on January 8.

The three films that students would be part of will be shot different locations of Jamshedpur including Jubilee Park, Dimna Lake, Bistupur, Jama Masjid, Temples and Gurudwaras.

To support the students in this project Syed Sajid Parwez from the department would be part of the shooting.
