Karim City College organizes ‘Van Bhojan’ for faculty

Jamshedpur: The faculty members of Karim City College, Sakchi, enjoyed a fun-filled ‘Van Bhojan’ picnic at Silver Sand, located on the Tata-Ranchi Highway. Organized under the guidance of Dr. Zaki Akhtar, Professor of Psychology, the event provided a relaxing day for the teaching and non-teaching staff, away from daily responsibilities.

The picnic featured various entertaining programs, including an open mic session, where faculty members Dr. Anwar Shahab, Dr. Mohammad Muiz Ashraf and Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed captivated the audience with soulful songs. Competitive events like musical chairs, chess championship and carrom championship were also held and the winners were honoured with prizes.

Speaking about the event, Principal Dr. Mohammad Reyaz said, “Such gatherings strengthen our bonds and create joyful memories. It’s wonderful to see everyone unwind and enjoy themselves.”

College Secretary Dr. Mohammad Zakaria along with several retired faculty members also joined the celebration, making it a nostalgic and memorable occasion. As with previous years, the picnic was a resounding success, fostering camaraderie and teamwork among the college staff.
