Jamshedpur, April 28: The Postgraduate Department of English at Karim City College (KCC) concluded a three-day international online seminar titled “All the Internet is a Stage: Shakespeare and Digital Humanities.”
The seminar, held from April 25 to April 28, commenced with a formal welcome address by Dr. S.M. Yahya Ibrahim, Head of the Department and Organizing Secretary, who greeted keynote speakers and participants from various institutions.

The keynote address was delivered by Professor M. Rizwan Khan of Aligarh Muslim University, who offered a thought-provoking analysis of the evolving landscape of literary studies. He explained how William Shakespeare continued to remain relevant in today’s digital ecosystem, not merely as a historical figure but as part of a dynamic and interconnected network of texts.
The seminar featured presentations and research papers from eminent scholars, including M. Asaduddin (Jamia Millia Islamia), Christy Carson (London), Tabish Khair (Denmark), Vibha Sharma (AMU), Sabir Ali (Midnapore College) and Sumita Sahu (Portugal).
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by the Organizing Secretary, marking the successful completion of the academic exchange.
