Ranchi, June 10: Gandey’s newly elected MLA Kalpana Murmu Soren has taken oath of office and secrecy. Kalpana Murmu Soren has become MLA for the first time by winning Gandey by-election. During her oath-taking program, CM Champai Soren along with ministers from JMM, Congress and RJD quota were also present.
It is worth noting that Kalpana Soren has become MLA by winning Gandey by-election. She defeated BJP candidate Dilip Verma by 26 thousand votes.
Kalpana Soren, who entered active politics after former Chief Minister Hemant Soren went to jail in the money laundering case on January 31, is the most talked about personality in Jharkhand politics these days. After entering politics, the way she has made her presence felt in the Lok Sabha and Gandey Assembly elections, many kinds of speculations have started being made in Jharkhand politics.
The opposition is expressing the possibility of a change of power in the state once again due to the growing stature of Kalpana Soren. Godda MP Nishikant Dubey has described this week as very important on social media. However, political experts believe that Kalpana Soren will not be made the Chief Minister in place of Champai Soren immediately.
