Jamshedpur: Nayyuvak Chetna Manch members organized a bhumi pujan ceremony for the Kali Puja pandal construction work at Joggers� Park, Golmuri, here on Monday. The Kali Puja organizing committee president Gaurav Kushwaha said this year an imaginary pandal is being built at an estimated expense of Rs 3 lakh. The pandal would be beautifully decorated with electric lights, he said.
The chief convenor of the committee Appu Tiwary said the Kali Puja would start on 19th October in the traditional manner. After the midnight puja, Mahabhog would be distributed among the devotees. Prasad will also be distributed the next day. The puja pandal would be inaugurated on 18th October, he said.
Among those present during the bhumi pujan ceremony today included Mantu Tiwary, Ankit Anand, Pappu Upadhyaya, Vikram Pandit, Ratnesh Singh, Kumar Sourav, Rishi Pandey, Rishabh Singh, Saroj Yadav, Bablu Tiwary, Niranjan Tiwary and Vivek Pandey.
