Jamshedpur, August 19: The state’s first Shibu Soren Memorial Football Competition, organized by Aman Welfare Society and APJ Kalam High School, concluded on Wednesday at Mango Road No. 7. The final witnessed an exciting clash between Kala Pathar and Student Club, with Kala Pathar emerging victorious to claim the championship title.
Aman, who delivered a stellar performance in the match, was adjudged Player of the Match. The prize distribution ceremony was held in the premises of APJ School, where the winners and runners-up were presented with trophies and cash awards.
Prominent guests present on the occasion included Dr. Afroz Shakeel, Md. Tahir Hussain, Md. Shahid, Shahid Akhtar, Neelam, Rafat, R.K. Mishra, Sonaram Tirkey, among others. A total of 12 teams participated in the tournament.
