Jamshedpur, Feb 14: The Rankini Temple in Kadma marked its 61st Pratishtha Diwas with grand celebrations. The temple has observed this annual event since 1964, commemorating the foundation day of Maa Kali.
The day began with Mahasnan and Panchamrit Snan, followed by adorning the deity with new clothes. Special prayers, Havan and offerings of various dishes were made to Maa Rankini. A Daridra Narayan Bhoj was also organized, where over 300 underprivileged people were served food. Additionally, sarees, dhotis and cash donations were distributed to the poor devotees.
The temple committee ensured the celebration was conducted with traditional fervor, reinforcing faith and devotion among the followers.
