Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha(JVM) is all set to take to the streets to demand electricity and water for the people dwelling in various bustis of the city. The agitation will be launched in the first week of August, said Abhay Singh, central secretary of the party.
The JVM leader said the MLA of Jamshedpur East Raghuvar Das had written to the Jusco management on 1st June in the year 2005 to demand water supply for all the bustis of the city. But the people of the bustis in the city are still to get water, said the JVM leader.
Singh alleged that the BJP leader had tried to implement the Moharda water supply project by misusing his powers as the then state finance minister. He further alleged that no political party in the city seemed to be serious on the issue of constructing flyovers in the city.
