Jamshedpur: Former minister and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leader Dulal Bhuiyan will be joining Bharatiya Janata Party on 10th August. He will be joining the saffron party with his supporters at the state BJP headquarters.
Making the announcement on Friday at his residence, Bhuiyan said he had decided to quit JVM due to the growing influence of party MLA Pradip Yadav in party affairs. He alleged that Yadav was running the organization by influencing every decision taken by party president Babulal Marandi.
The party contested the Lok Sabha elections this year sans a definite strategy. Marandi decided to contest the election against Guruji (Sibu Soren) in Dumka. He also rejected any possibility of an alliance with the Congress and the BJP. He was also not serious on the issue of party MLAs leaving the party. All the goings-on in the party was planned by Pradip Yadav, said Bhuiyan.
The former Jugsalai legislator said he had joined the JVM with great expectation after serving Jharkhand Mukti Morcha for 25 years. But the JVM failed to live up to the expectations of the people, he said.
Bhuiyan said the BJP veteran Atal Behari Vajpayee had given the people of Jharkhand their state. He said he wanted to serve the people under the banner of the BJP without any conditions or desires.
He also said that he had no personal differences with Arjun Munda, Raghuvar Das or Saryu Roy and other BJP leaders.
