Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha(JVM) is planning to stage agitation of Project Bhavan on 7th July and organize one day dharna programme at all district headquarters to protest corruption and declining law and order situation in the state.
Party president Babulal Marandi announced this on Tuesday. He said the agitation programme at Project Bhavan will be led by JVM legislative group leader Pradip Yadav.
He alleged that corruption was at its peak all over the state. He said coal smuggling was on in the state under the very nose of bureaucrats.
He said the law and order situation was also deplorable in the state. Cases of murder and other crimes were being reported increasingly, he said.
Marandi said around 5000 people had been killed in the state till April this year. He demanded measures to stop crimes in the state.
