Complaint to DC against BLO

Jamshedpur: The villagers of Haludbani panchayat accompanied by Bharatiya Janata Party leaders met the deputy commissioner(DC) and sub divisional officer of Dhalbhum on Tuesday to demand action against the local booth level officer for alleged dereliction of duty.

They said the BLO were often found absent in the booth number 203 was not found present at the booth on four days.

They handed over a memorandum to the DC and the SDO in this regard and sought departmental action against the accused persons. They said the BLO had shown no promptness in making corrections in the electoral list.
