JVM activists seek appointment with Modi

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha activists have not yet got permission to meet Bharatiya Janata Partys Prime-ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on his arrival to Jamshedpur.

The party leaders have planned to sit on dharna at Aam Bagan ground, Sakchi, in case they are not allowed to meet Modi. They will be handing over a memorandum to Modi on his arrival in the city to address a public meeting at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, on 10th April.

Speaking on the issue, Dr Ajoy Kumar, partys sitting MP from Jamshedpur and a second time MP aspirant, said the JVM was not going to protest Modis proposed programme in the city. He said the party workers will sit quietly at Aam Bagan and wait for Modi to arrive there to take the memorandum from them.

JVM secretary Abhay Singh said the party had written a letter to BJP national president Rajnath Singh and other BJP leaders to seek an appointment with Modi.
