JUSCO workers to hold protest today

Jamshedpur: Former JUSCO union general secretary SL Das will lead a team of retired employees to the DLC�s office on Thursday, December 27 to demonstrate for a package in lieu of medical extension in line with Tata Steel�s policy.

SL Das stated that like Tata Steel where a package of Rs 7.20 lakh instead of medical extension is being paid to retiring employees, JUSCO too should implement the same.

To give final shape to the protest on December 27, a meeting of retired JUSCO employees was convened at the Mody Park today. The meeting was attended by Naroz Khan, Sayyad Mohammad Shamim, TN Singh, Md Shahabuddin, AB Rahman, SD Thakur, Gurdip Singh, Ful Jha, Ranjit Singh and other retired employees.
