JUSCO School South Park students pledge to adopt environment friendly lifestyle

Jamshedpur, May 5: Nukkad Natak, pledge taking and Collage on Green Energy marked World Environment Day celebration at JUSCO School South Park (JSSP) on Monday.  

The Scouts and Guides & Eco  Club of JSSP participated in “Prabhat Pheri” and urged the morning walkers near G Town Club to Nurture the Nature by gifting them saplings and presenting a  Nukkad Natak .

1500 students and 70 teachers took an e-pledge to adopt environment friendly lifestyle. Further, the celebration also emphasized on India’s G20 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) on Green Energy through collage making & pamphlet designing competitions  on the topic  “Green Fuel Alternatives”.

In message to the school students principal Mili Sinha said environment  is responsibility of each one of us and we must protect it by taking positive steps towards a healthier and greener planet by initiatives marking a shift towards Green energy based fuels instead of fossil  fuels.

Vice Principal Gurmeet Kaur, Coordinator Tami Sikdar along with Reeti Jha, Anjani Sah, Vikas Das, Vandana Tiwari, Illa Das, Mukesh Kr Singh  and Hemant Rajak were present at the event.
