Jamshedpur: Within 24 hours of the incident, police have exposed a shooting incident case under Mango Police Station Area, Sahara City Gate Number Two. Two individuals, Deepak Chaudhary and driver Bhushan Mahato have also been arrested. Jamshedpur’s SP, Vijay Shankar, revealed the details of the case, stating that Flipkart’s delivery boy, Deepak Chaudhary, went to deliver a package at his residence. However, Deepak Chaudhary refused to accept the parcel, claiming that it was not his order. This led to a heated argument between him and the delivery boy, Rishu Singh.
When the situation escalated to physical altercation, Bhushan Mahato and Abhishek Mishra, the associates of Deepak Chaudhary, also arrived at the scene. Deepak Chaudhary (46) and Bhushan Mahato (30) were captured by the police late at night in Balarampur, Purulia. Upon their arrest, a pistol, five live cartridges, a mobile phone of a Samsung company, and the goods ordered from Flipkart were confiscated.

However, the bullet fired in anger by Deepak Mishra did not hit the delivery boy but struck Abhishek Mishra (30).
The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community and raised concerns about the safety of delivery personnel who often work in challenging environments. Authorities have launched a full-scale investigation to apprehend the perpetrator and bring them to justice. The police have collected forensic evidence from the crime scene and are examining CCTV footage from nearby establishments to gather leads in the case.
