Adityapur: Scout and Guide students from JUSCO School South Park celebrated World Environment Day by organizing a vibrant plantation drive at Jayprakash Udyan. Enthusiastic students and teachers from the school’s Scouts and Guides Club participated actively in the initiative.
During the event, the students planted saplings and performed an engaging nukkad natak (street play) to spread awareness about nature preservation and environmental protection. Following their performance, the students distributed saplings to the audience, encouraging community members to participate actively in environmental conservation.
The gathering concluded the event by taking a collective pledge to nurture and safeguard nature for future generations.
Mrs. Reeti Jha, Incharge of the Scouts and Guides Club, coordinated and guided the entire programme. Principal Mrs. Mili Sinha extended her warm greetings to the participants and emphasized the vital importance of tree plantation and ongoing environmental conservation.
