Jamshedpur DC Orders MGM Hospital Water Project Completion by June 15

Jamshedpur: Deputy Commissioner Rajiv Ranjan inspected the under-construction water tower and drinking water supply project on the banks of the Subarnarekha River at Baliguma today, setting a strict June 15 deadline for its completion.

Ranjan emphasized that the district administration prioritizes regular, uninterrupted drinking water supply to MGM Hospital, the region’s largest government healthcare institution. He instructed the executing agency to finish all pending work immediately, warning that failures would trigger legal action.

To resolve site challenges, the Deputy Commissioner ordered the Executive Engineer of the Electricity Department to connect power to the site immediately. He also reviewed the pending National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) clearance, instructing officials to expedite the approvals.

Finally, Ranjan urged all departments to work in mission mode to meet the timeline. The Deputy Development Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer (Dhalbhum), and Mango Municipal Corporation officials also attended the inspection.
