Jamshedpur, May 11: The most auspicious ceremonial occasion ‘Investiture Ceremony’ of JUSCO School South Park was held with full zeal, zest and enthusiasm. The Investiture Ceremony is one of the momentous occasions when the school entrusts hope, faith and the mantle of responsibility to the newly appointed school council. This ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly office bearers.
Alok Pandey, Head Safety and Construction, Tata Steel graced the occasion as the Chief guest. He advised the students to inculcate the values of punctuality, dedication, discipline and determination as they are the torch bearers of tomorrow. He said that the office bearers to work with a spirit of unity in the interest of students at large. He congratulated them and rightly remarked that leadership does not mean enjoyment of one’s power, rather, it is a means to empower others.
The school Principal, Mili Sinha appreciated the honesty, confidence and clarity in thoughts which the office bearers had exhibited during their selection process and wished that they work not just for the betterment and growth of their fellow students but for their personal growth.
The school Presidents, Captains, Vice Presidents, Captains & Vice Captains of the five houses, Sports & Discipline Moderators along with various clubs Moderators took oath which was administered by the school Principal and they were conferred with badges, sashes and flags.
Sanjana Mahata the outgoing school president handed over the school flag to the newly elected Presidents Satyam Kumar & Sneha Singh, School Captains Kushal Divyam & Shreya Singh.
