Jamshedpur: The Class 12 students of Jusco School, Kadma, welcomed their juniors at the Kudy Mahanty Auditorium on Tuesday. Titled ‘Freshers La Fete’, the event aimed to build camaraderie and solidarity between the two senior-most batches of the school.
Celebrations and Cultural Showcase
Principal Ms. Jhumjhumi Nandi inaugurated the festivities by congratulating the newcomers and wishing them success in their new academic journey. Following her address, Class 12 students performed a series of cultural programmes to entertain the new batch.
The highlight of the afternoon featured a ramp walk, where elegantly dressed newcomers showcased their talent. Participants competed for the top honours in a series of rounds judged by senior faculty members.
Winners of the Day
After a competitive talent showcase, the school crowned the following winners:
- Mr. Fresher: Yashwardhan (Std 11 B)
- Miss Fresher: Adeeba Rahman (Std 11 A)
Vice Principal Mrs. Anindita Roy, Senior School Coordinator Mr. Qamar Ali, and the senior secondary faculty also attended the event to support the students and celebrate the start of the new session.
