Jamshedpur, March 5: Taking forward the green crusade of Jusco, �Walk2Work Saturday�s� was conceptualized and flagged off by Dhananjay Mishra, Senior G.M, JTO, a few weeks back.
Mishra led a team of employees to create awareness about protecting the environment and reducing carbon footprints by walking to work on Saturdays.
Like in the previous few weeks, this week also Walk2Work Saturday�s saw active participation from green crusaders of Jusco.
This week, Walk2Work Saturday was flagged off from the IDBI Bank Circle, Near Voltas House, Bistupur, at 8.30 a.m. More than 40 employees participated in the awareness drive this week with inclusion of 13 riders on bicycle and others who walked the distance to office.
Mishra and V.D Gopal Krishna, former working president, JSU, along with other officers and supervisors reached the Jusco office completing the journey in 20 minutes.
