Jugsalai: Chairperson Nausheen Khan presided over the inaugural Board meeting of the Jugsalai Nagar Parishad on Monday at the Parishad auditorium. Joined by MLA Mangal Kalindi and Executive Officer Sandeep Paswan, the board officially released an annual calendar dedicated to Solid and Plastic Waste Management to bolster environmental awareness.
The meeting focused on urgent civic priorities, including urban transport, sanitation, drinking water, and electricity. Members also deliberated on institutional capacity building and approved various development schemes under the 15th Finance Commission. Executive Officer Paswan welcomed the ward councilors and dignitaries, emphasizing a collective commitment to improving local infrastructure.
Nineteen ward councilors attended the session, submitting proposals to enhance service delivery and urban governance. The leadership stressed that coordinated efforts between elected representatives and officials will remain vital to solving Jugsalai’s urban challenges and ensuring the efficient implementation of civic amenities.
