JPSC to appoint 817 special doctors: Raghubar

Ranchi: Chief Minster Raghubar Das here on Tuesday said that the state government had prioritized strengthening of the health department. He said the government has started new schemes so that the people should not move from place to place for treatment. He said that the department should make schemes in time and review the development from time to time.

“The required workforce should be appointed during construction of the hospital so that the treatment of the patients may be started as soon as the building is completed. He said that all formalities should be completed beforehand so that the schemes should be started from 1st April this year,” said the CM.

The CM asked the state authorities concerned to start nursing curriculum in civil hospitals. “The new session should be started from July so that the shortcomings of the nurses may be sorted out in the years to come. Officers should conduct surprise inspections and cleanliness should be ensured. Health check up camps should be conducted at schools every year. This will start in 10-15 thousand schools at a time. Health card will be made for all the children. The Ministers, MPs and local MLAs should participate in it. The Indian Medical Association should be considered for help,” he said.

Das said that the local people’s representatives should be included in the distribution of medicated mosquito nets. Canteen at three medical colleges -RIMS, MGMCH and PMCH will be constructed under Mukhyamantri Kitchen Yojana to provide food to attendants or the visitors at cheaper rates. Mukhyamantri Swasthya Beema Yojana will start on 1st April 2017 with Rastriya Swasthya Suraksha Beema Yojana, he said.

The CM directed the state officials concerned to make four districts of Santhal Pargana Kalazar-free by the end of this year. He said that for sickle cell anemia, cards should be made and given to the patients as per their colour. The work of driving Mamta car will be given to the villagers. He said that health services will be developed in the village on PPP mode. Cancer Hospital and Research Center will be held in RIMS, he said.

It was declared in the meeting that a total of 817 special doctors will be appointed under JPSC. The appointment of 101 special doctors and 200 MBBS will be completed by 15th February. Pharmacy will be opened in all block headquarters. A.N.M. schools will be opened in Latehar, Chatra, Lohardaga, Devghar, Pakur and Koderma in 2017-18. Three year degree on health services will be started from this year.

Health Minister Ram Chandra Chandravanshi, Additional CS Amit Khare, Additional CS Health Sudhir Tripathi, Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar, Directors of RIMS, MGMCH and PMCH including other officers were present in the meeting.
