Jamshedpur, May 28: Students of Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) have put up a brilliant performance in the CBSE Class 12 results, whose results were declared on Sunday morning.
Varsha Kabi of commerce was the school topper scoring 95 % marks; Ashutosh Kumar scored 94 % to be crowned second school topper in commerce while Kyati was the third topper with 91.2 % marks.
Total of 153 students appeared for the Class 12 exam from the school among which 23.5 % of the total no. of students scored an average of 80% and above. Last year 30% students scored an average of 80% and above.
�The overall result has been good this year, students have fared very well with an overall average school performance of 70%. The school’s commerce students put up impressive performance specially Varsha Kabi who has been crowned the city topper”, said Namita Agarwal, principal of JPS.
In the pure science Priyank Agarwal was the school topper with 93.2 % marks, Prabhakar Kumar Sharma was second with 92.4% marks, while Animesh Singh was third topper with 90.4 % marks.
In the bio science stream, Moulabi Biswas was the school topper with 91.2 %, Rajan Srivastava scored 91 % to bag second spot while Anjali Choudhary scored 82 % marks and was third.
