Jamshedpur, May 7: The Primary Block of Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) celebrated Grandparent�s Day by organising a Gala evening for the grandparents �Yeh Shaam Grandparents Ke Naam�.
The idea behind the programme was to teach the students to show respect & gratitude towards elders. It was a funfilled evening with the grandparents participating in various games, a quiz, musical extravaganza etc.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr Nandwani , Mrs Meera Nandwani & the Principal Namita Agarwal.
Many grandparents participated in the programme. Some of the grandparents shared some of their most memorable moments of their lives.
The programme was a grand success & the grandparents thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The children felt proud of their grandparents and also realized the importance of grandparents in their lives.
