Jamshedpur : Manpreet Singh Bhatia ( 30) reporter of The Avenue Mail was critically injured in a road mishap at Outer Circle Road, near Hotel Sonnet under Bistupur Police Station.
The mishap took place when he was returning home after completing his work at office at 11:00 PM.
A car ( Alto JH 05 AA 4011) coming from opposite and wrong direction in rattling speed dashed him and left him critically injured. Though the passers by tried to stop the car driver and other occupants but they fled away in
darkness.
The car belongs to Prof ( Rtd) AA Khan of Chandil. He was present in the car but paid little heed to the local people’s pleas and ran away with other family members.
Bhatia was immediately rushed to TMH where he was given immediate treatment. He has received sever injuries in his right ankle.
