Jamshedpur, Feb 8: Jamshedpur-based Pundit Raghunath Murmu Tribal University has invited applications for the post of Vice Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Registrar and Financial Advisor. Administrative experience, higher education and related qualifications are expected from the eligible candidates. Online applications have been invited from 10th February to 10th March, sources said.
A Bill regarding setting up of a tribal university in the state was brought in Jharkhand Assembly in the winter session in December 2021. Governor Ramesh Bais had given approval to the Bill. The headquarters of the proposed university is currently in Professonal Engineering College in Jamshedpur, sources said.
